Press Release

Canada is hosting a raffle to support refugee artists from Ukraine. We are partnering with the John David Mooney Foundation in Chicago which is providing emergency living and workspace for artists from Ukraine for a six-month period. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 public educational organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. While the foundation is generously providing space, extra money is needed to provide financial assistance to cover travel and living costs associated with these artists who are fleeing war in their home country.

How it works: People who want to support this effort and receive a great piece of art, should send $1,500 to the Foundation. Then present the receipt to Canada which entitles you to a ticket. One ticket per person please. There are fifteen tickets available, first come first serve. We will randomly choose the artwork based on ticket numbers we pick out of a hat. Canada will then mail the artwork to the recipient.
